Questions
How much does Shopify take per sale?
On Basic, $3.20 on a $100 order paid with a standard card online. Your monthly plan price is separate.
What is a premium card on Shopify?
Rewards, corporate and other high-fee cards. Shopify charges a higher rate on them (3.5% + 30¢ on Basic).
Why does Shopify charge extra for PayPal or other gateways?
If you use a payment provider other than Shopify Payments, Shopify adds a transaction fee (2% on Basic) on top of that provider's own fee.
