Questions
How much does Etsy take per sale?
Usually around 10–11% of the order plus $0.45. On a $30 item with $5 shipping and 8% sales tax, the fees come to $3.86.
Does Etsy charge fees on shipping?
Yes. The 6.5% transaction fee covers the item price, shipping and gift wrapping. Payment processing is charged on the full total including tax.
Can I opt out of Offsite Ads?
Shops that made under $10,000 in the past year can opt out. Above that, Offsite Ads are required at a 12% fee. Either way the fee is capped at $100 per order.
